The Airbus aircraft life cycle service center project is the first one-stop service center for middle-aged and elderly aircraft established by Airbus in China with the concept of sustainable development as the leading factor. Its business scope includes aircraft parking and storage, aircraft sublease or upgrading required for the resumption of operation, aircraft maintenance, dismantling and recycling, passenger conversion, second-hand available aircraft material management and trading, etc. It is a cooperation project between Airbus and Chengdu Shuangliu District Government in April 2022. It was officially put into operation at the end of year 2023.

ELTRA, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airbus, welcomed the visit of Chengdu Shuangliu District Government. The government delegation visited ELTRA's repair workshops and facilities, and introduced the development of Shuangliu District. The two sides held discussions on further possible cooperation.
