ELTRA Annual Staff Event

On 10th March, Eltra held its annual staff conference successfully. The event aims at communicating with staff about the strategy of Eltra, which is “one stop repair station with component lifecycle services”. Other functions such as HR and general procurement which links to Eltra’s integration with Airbus were also invited to the conference.

Mr. Miao Yan, General Manager of Eltra, reviewed the 2022 achievements in his opening remarks of the annual staff conference. “2022 was a successful year for Eltra,” he said, “despite all the challenges, especially the unexpected epidemic challenges in the past year, Eltra’s revenue was well on target. It also developed new business relationship with AVIC Jiatai and Falcon, obtained the JCAB certificate, and fully integrated with Airbus.”

In 2023, Eltra will continue to achieve its strategic goals with the support of Airbus. It is now on the way to become a one-stop solution provider for both component repair and engineering services. It will boost its current repair business by strengthening the relationship with both domestic and Asia Pacific customers and develop new repair and maintenance capabilities by approaching new OEM partners. It will also set up an STC house which provides a scope of cabin retrofit engineering services.

 

Eltra set up its aviation component maintenance company in Beijing in August 2006. As  a 100% of Airbus subsidiary, it was established for Airbus to provide quick, convenient and high-quality repair and technical support service to airlines in China and Asia-Pacific, and has become one of a few maintenance companies in China as delegated by multiple OEMs.

 

“Eltra is an important pillar of Airbus services in China and will play a significant role in the future to contribute to the development of Airbus services in the field of components services, such as FHS, Airbus Lifecycle Services and other engineering services.” said by Mr. Yongdong HU, VP of Strategy, Business Development and Operations of Customer Services, Airbus China, “With the extraordinary resilience and the team spirit, Eltra will take the opportunity of the market recovery and accomplish even more in 2023.”

 

As a company with social responsibility and to fully align Airbus overall strategy on sustainability, Eltra also manages its businesses with sustainability always in mind. More and more paperless docs are in use and a fully digital-equipped workshop is being developed.
